Translated from the German language, von der roten Erde means, of the red earth. Hence the two kennel names.

All of our dogs are campaigned in the American Kennel Club and the American Field trial formats. The DKV registered dogs are also proven in the German and NAVHDA testing formats.
More importantly, they are hunted on Upland Game, Waterfowl & Fur!!
On occasion we have puppies, started and finished dogs available.
Our Philosophy
We have very few litters. A limited amount will be sold as puppies, most will be kept, trained and sold as started or finished dogs. We do not breed for the "average hunter" our puppies and dogs are meant for the hunter that takes the sport seriously and wants a versatile companion.
